Being offered is a sterling silver salver by J. E. Caldwell of Philadelphia. This lovely antique piece is oval shaped and has a row of beads going around the edge. It stands on four feet so it is raised off the surface. In the center a wreath with a bow is where you would have it monogrammed. Around that a geometric motif gives the surface a three-dimensional feel. I love this piece for mail, perfume bottles or as a vanity tray (keys, wallet, remote control, etc). In pristine condition.
