Being offered is a sterling silver salad fork and spoon with wood handles made in Mexico. At the height of the Mid-Century modern movement (1950’s), Mexican silversmiths experimented with other materials (i.e., wood, glass, leather) and created some of the most beautiful pieces. This salad set fuses silver and wood in a coherent almost natural design.
The handles are curved and tapered— see photos, at the point where the wood handle and sterling top meet there are 3 beads to give them a Jensenesque feel. Uber-modern and stylish you will appreciate these servers for years to come!
