Being offered is a sterling silver fork and spoon in the “Louis XV” pattern by Whiting Silver. Introduced in 1891 at the height of the Gilded Age, it has a rich old-world elegance that was a must during that period. The handles have a scalloped design along the edge and the tops (bowl and tines) are extra long complimenting the elongated handles. There is a hand engraved script “S” on top.
