On one side two turtle doves with their wings spread open flying, on the other side the image of the turtle doves flying with “peace on earth”, “good will toward men” and “1976” is inscribed along the on edge. The two turtle doves are from the “Twelve Nights of Christmas” lyrics:
“On the second day of Christmas, my true love sent to me
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.”
